Anita Chatman, MD, MPH
Dr. Chatman is a dedicated family physician and urgent care provider from the Stone Ridge, Virginia area. With a career of over 25 years and counting in medicine, Dr. Chatman
builds the trust of patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds by thoroughly evaluating them, forming an accurate diagnosis, and creating their individualized treatment plans. She also prioritizes
preventive care and helps patients stay healthy and informed throughout day-to-day life.
Dr. Chatman began her career in 1989 after graduating from Dhaka Medical College in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Soon after graduating, she moved to the United States for a family
practice internship and residency at St. Joseph’s Campus of Genesys Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. There, her hard work and expertise were recognized and she earned an honorable mention
award for her research as a resident.
In addition to her extensive training in family medicine, Dr. Chatman also holds a Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She
continues to expand her knowledge base for the benefit of her patients with longstanding membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians.
At Valley Health Clinic, Dr. Chatman frequently provides physical examinations, vitamin injections, maintain chronic illnesses, laceration repair, and aesthetic services like
skin tightening and body contouring. She is a certified DOT provider and is a certified civil surgeon for the USCIS Immigration Services.
